About

Hi, my name is Celina. My passion are horses, and with that I mean ALL horses. From Lusitano to Coldblodtrotter, from Shetland to Shire, old or young – I like all horses.

I love being with horses, listening to a horse breathing, feeling their warm breath on my skin, their soft muzzling on my hair or skin. I do love the unconditional trust this big animal is ready to give us, day by day.
This is why I started Equidemia. As an equine osteopath and academic art of riding trainer, my daily work is to build connections in between equine and human.

Today, I am the proud human of 5 incredible horses. Despino, 19 year old Hannoveranien gelding, Viljar, a 5 year old Coldblood Trotter, and Tassilo, a 3,5 year old Fredriksborg and two Lusitano foals who are 2 years now and enjoying life on the farm. All of them try their very best to educate me, and keep me curious about understanding horses in more and more holistic ways.

German born, I am living with my daughter and husband on my husband’s home farm in northern Norway, close to Tromsø. A little dog is completing our family.

My passion is to empower humans to become real horse people, and to live up to their dreams. I am writing for different magazines, am the leading figure behind the Academic Art of Riding Compendium and write regular blogs and articles for making knowledge easy accessible.

And this is also the story behind Equidemia. Named as a merge of Equine and Academy, Equidemia has the mission of making knowledge easily accessible for everyone. Both, the ambitious sparetime rider and the professional will find multiple offers here. Equidemia offers online and offline education, webinars with multiple speakers and in the future as well on demand lectures and courses. Stay tuned!
